Jc and I liked the trip to Germany ! We enjoyed all the things in the trip.
We really enjoyed the free time in Stuttgart ! We did a little shopping . We visited the city and the shopping center.

Center of Stuttgart

Also we met Germans and we spoke with them. They are very cool and a lot of them speak English.
For the museums that was very interesting to see the evolution of the car  through the time and how the design changed year after year.

Mercedes Museum

Léo : Personally I prefer the Mercedes museum because there were more cars and it was more interesting than the Porsche museum .

Jc : As for me I prefer the Mercedes museum too because we were more free to visit it and I prefer Mercedes cars to Porsche ones.

Impression
The journey was very enriching and great.
It allowed us to discover the German industrial world.
It would be good to be able to visit similar factories in France or in another country to compare them.

My impression of the Porsche's museum

I was very impressed by the external look of the Porsche's museum although it was very special.
But in the inside, the organisation of the space was very convenient for the visit.
The race track's shape of the visit course permitted to have a chronological look at all the cars, and the stairs
permitted to go easily to any of the car, or to reach quickly the exit if needed.
There was also holes in the ceiling to absorb the noise.
All the infrastructure was very well-made and ingenious.

Ich liebe dich Stuttgart

A few days ago we took the bus from Lieusaint to Stuttgart and it lasted 7 hours.
We have to confess you that our first contact with Germany was a tasty experience...

When we arrived at the youth hostel, we discovered our room and the hostel's restaurant which were both modern and welcoming. From the windows we could appreciate the landscape and the sunset.

Then, we had to ask german people about their hobbies, their favourites sport, films, Newspapers, TV show...
We were a little bit tense to meet them. We learnt from them that they love football, American movies... like us.
And the most readed daily newspaper is Sueddeutsche.
German people are very kind but they look strict.
We were disappointed by the food that was given to us at the youth hostel. We didn't find it good and it was unhealthy.

Who don't knows that Stuttgart is the valley of the German car industries ? Indeed Germany is well-known for it powerful car Industry. We have seen that German are real patriots because they only drive German cars like Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, BMW...

That was the reason why we visited the Mercedes Museum where J-M lost his cellphone (obviously we never found it...) but it was a great place where we could watch the evolution of security and engine performance. This Museum also showed us a lot of collection cars which made me wondering for having it.
We also visited the Mercedes factory but it was stopped.

We finished the travel visiting the Porsche Museum which has an outstanding architecture.
The cheapest Porsche only cost about 60.000 euros...

We enjoyed this travel and we became a better european citizen.

Good memories

*We were controlled by the police while we passed into the station.
*When we must speak in English with people, it was funny. Now, we know we can manage to be understood in a foreign language, with people we don’t know.
* We met student of  the second STI2D . Great friendships were born.
* A lot of autonomy was left to the students.
* Too many stairs, kill the stairs.

Our impressions on this good trip

When we arrived in the city of Stuttgart, I saw that the city was in development thanks to all the cranes and all the new buildings under construction.
The numerous commercial buildings, museums, the center, the shops. We liked the 15-km-long commercial avenue. It made us realise the importance of the city in Germany.

We were lucky to share words, words with young German people, it was a new experience for us, certainly a little bit difficult but pleasant.

In the hostel, we were not alone, we met people of other countries than Germany, to share good moments..
